Solid Rock Summer Missions
We are committed to developing, within the Solid Rock community, an awareness of and concern for the needs of humanity around the globe, while providing the opportunity for this community to reach out across the cultural barriers and experience being an instrument of God’s healing love.

Raven’s Nest Food Pantry
Every Thursday evening at 6:30pm, we distribute food for those in need through the Corpus Christi Food Bank.

Spirit of Christmas
For several years, Solid Rock Worship Center worked together with the Nueces County Sheriff’s Department to give away over 300 new bicycles each year to children with a parent incarcerated. In December 2007, Solid Rock worked with two local schools to provide a festival and new bike to students in need.

The Whip, Hammer, & Cross
From 1997 – 2006, over 5,000 people attended Solid Rock to experience “The Whip, Hammer, & Cross,” a spectacular passion play brought to life through exciting drama, song and pageantry. A large cast of volunteer actors brings to life the characters of Jesus, the disciples, Pilate, Mary Magdalene, Mary, and many more. Together they recreate the story of the Passion Week including the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, garden of Gethsemane, the trial, crucifixion, and resurrection. Utilizing sound, music, and lighting The Whip, Hammer, & Cross is famous for its lifelike recreation of earthquakes, thunderstorms and lightening. Palm branches soar overhead while live animals parade down the aisles. The passion play is an exciting interpretation of the week that changed the course of history forever.
